Staying true to her Indonesian name, Dunia Baru takes guests to a “New World” saturated in luxury and adventure. Combining traditional phinisi design with all the high-spec amenities you might expect to find on a modern superyacht.view
Kudanil Explorer is unique to our portfolio as this 50-metre ship was once a heavy-duty ocean-going vessel before it was converted into the beautiful luxury expedition yacht that it is today. This means that you have all the built-in safety features and space of an offshore vessel along with contemporary comforts, plus the ability to venture into waters that other boats cannot. And with 8 stately cabins with their own balconies and plenty of outdoor and indoor areas to socialise and relax, this is the perfect cruising ship for groups wanting to explore remote corners of the Indonesian archipelago in style.
There is no shortage of space onboard Kudanil Explorer, as there are multiple living areas spread out over various decks. On the main deck you have a light-filled restaurant and dining room with wooden tables and a bar for group gatherings and meals; a separate library and lounge that provides a cool and quiet sanctuary; a wine storage room; and a dedicated spa where you can enjoy soothing massages. On the aft deck there is a dive deck with changing rooms and three bathrooms, and on the top deck you will find an outdoor saloon, lounge and dining area, as well as ‘Monkey Island’, a sundeck with an open-air Jacuzzi and sun loungers.
Adventure awaits for those who embark on one of Kudanil Explorer’s incredible voyages into some of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes. In addition to visiting exotic locales like Komodo National Park with its famous ‘dragons’ and the world-famous dive spots of Raja Ampat, the ship’s expert guides will also take you to hidden isles with pristine jungles and waterfalls, picturesque villages with unique traditions and customs, and deserted beaches surrounded by aquamarine waters. Destinations include Nusa Tenggara Timur, Papua and Maluku (the Spice Islands). You can also create your own custom expedition to enjoy epic surfing, diving and cultural explorations.
There are 8 spacious cabins on the upper deck of Kudanil Explorer, each of which is done up in natural wood and local textiles, and features a gorgeous ensuite bathroom and a private balcony with daybeds, tables and chairs. For sleeping arrangements you can opt for a king-sized bed or a twin configuration, and single beds for children are available on request. The cabins also have modern conveniences like air-conditioning, hot water, complimentary Wi-Fi, and entertainment systems with movies and TV series.
With 21 crew onboard this luxury yacht during each expedition, you know you are in good hands. The crew includes a boat manager to arrange all your trips and activities, a chef to prepare gourmet meals including Asian and international dishes and seafood barbecues, and a dive guide to set you up with diving equipment and take you to amazing underwater sites. Guests are also welcome to use the kayaks, paddleboards, kite surfing equipment, surfboards, wakeboards, waterskis and snorkelling equipment onboard the boat.
Kudanil Explorer was converted in 2017 and spans 50m. 8 cabins accommodate up to 16 guests. She cruises at a maximum speed of 14 knots.
