The River House was built as a private residence with all the accoutrements you would expect in a luxury home. Highlights include a 25-metre swimming pool, a wooden sundeck with an outdoor dining table, a gourmet kitchen, and spacious, light-filled suites with access to a huge balcony overlooking the landscaped gardens and rice paddies. The villa is fully staffed with cooks to prepare daily breakfasts, housekeepers to keep the rooms and grounds looking immaculate, and a villa manager who can arrange spa treatments, excursions, and more.
Step inside the grand entrance of The River House and you find yourself in a sophisticated space with soaring ceilings, stone walls, and polished wood floors. Modern furnishings and artwork are illuminated by natural light flowing in the glass walls and windows. Sliding glass doors can be opened for natural ventilation or closed to allow the fans and air conditioning to cool down the space. There are several rooms for socialising, including the living and dining room overlooking the pool, the media room, and the massage rooms that doubles as a children’s play room.
With five beautiful bedrooms, The River House can accommodate 10 guests comfortably with the option to add bedding for up to 12 people. The master suite is the most coveted with an inviting king bed, lounge area, and outdoor bathtub on a private corner of the balcony. All of the suites have king beds, ensuites, walk-in closets, and access to the balcony. Three of the guest bedrooms can be configured with two single beds for children or guests sharing a room.
The generously appointed gardens at The River House allow you to appreciate the natural beauty of this quiet corner of Pererenan. The swimming pool extends for 25 metres and is lined with tropical greenery along one side to provide shade during the heat of the day. The wooden deck has cushioned loungers, sofas, and a large al fresco dining table. The grassy lawn is surrounded by tall trees and it offers direct access to the river.
