El Aleph

5 Cabins | 10 Guests + 2 | 12 Crew | 40m
From USD 10,000 / night

Combining traditional Phinisi design and 21st century technology, El Aleph is a striking 40-metre luxury yacht that follows the ancient spice trade routes through the beguiling islands of Indonesia. She was originally built as a pleasure yacht for the owner and his family, but she welcomes guests on a few exclusive luxury charters throughout the year. From her smooth, polished tropical hardwoods to her state-of-the-art electronics and welcoming crew, El Aleph offers an unrivalled sailing experience to unique destinations in the Indonesian archipelago.

Onboard

El Aleph was built by master cabinet makers in Bali over a period of more than 200,000 hours, and the attention to detail can be seen throughout in the 100-year-old teak and ironwood decks and detailing, modern conveniences like full marine battery capacity that allows her to cruise in ‘quiet mode’ with the engines off, and the gorgeous interiors with large windows, soft furnishings and intricate lattice work.

Outside there is plenty of space for lounging and al fresco dining at the large wooden table with bench seating on the main deck, on the promenade deck, sun deck and the large lounge area on the bowsprit. For days when the weather doesn’t permit al fresco dining, there is a spacious dining area inside with a large table, cushioned bench seating, a galley and a library.

Bespoke Cruises

The experienced cruise directors on El Aleph will take you on a journey of discovery to exotic locales like Komodo National Park where the famous Komodo dragons reside, Raja Ampat with its incredible coral gardens, jungle-covered islands and pristine white sand beaches, and the small towns and villages of the Banda Islands where Dutch colonial houses and ancient forts still stand. Along the way you can stop to snorkel in secluded lagoons, dive among shipwrecks and schools of tropical fish, and visit remote villages where time seems to have stood still for centuries.

Cabins

El Aleph boast five beautiful cabins, the biggest of which is the master cabin above deck. The master cabin has a king-sized bed made up with crisp white linens, an L-shaped sofa set next to huge windows for watching the seascapes pass by, a writing desk, ensuite bathroom and a private terrace. Below deck there are four double ensuite cabins and an additional smaller cabin that is perfect for children or a nanny. Each suite also has its own individually controlled air-conditioning units and plenty of shelving and storage space.

Facilities & Services

El Aleph is fully equipped with a crew of 12, some of whom have been aboard since the ship’s launch nearly a decade ago, and their warm and welcoming manner will make you feel right at home. The crew includes a talented chef who specialises in gourmet Asian-fusion dishes, a cruise director who can take you to little-explored corners of Indonesia, and a dive master who can set you up with top-of-the-line dive equipment including NITROX and Poseidon rebreathers. For water toys you have your choice of wakeboards, waterskis, sea kayaks and body boards, plus fishing equipment and a tender for land excursions.
