Located in the stylish Oberoi area of Seminyak, this dramatic 4-bedroom villa was built with tropical colonial grandeur in mind. Offering chic exclusivity, Villa Lulito is only a short walk to the beach, world-class dining, cafes and boutiques.view
Designed by award-winning architect Budi Pradono, Villa Issi is one of a kind. The ultra-modern design includes a metal sculpture wrapped around the top floor of the villa which to provide shade and subtle patterns of light in the upper bedrooms, and a wooden bridge deck extending from the upper floor above the pool that simply screams suntanning sessions and sunset cocktails. In addition, the artworks are contemporary and the furnishings are chic and comfortable, making this a cool crash pad just steps from the Seminyak action.
It’s hard to walk through the gate at Villa Issi and not immediately be taken by the cutting edge design. The 25-metre swimming pool is fronted by green lawns and ancient frangipani trees, and behind it rests the wooden pool deck and white stone walls and metal sculpture of the main building. At the other end of the garden you will find the stylish guest pavilion and the stand-alone gym.
The location of Villa Issi is also a major draw, as you are just minutes from some of Bali’s best shops, spas, restaurants, bars and the beach, yet still in a quiet cul-de-sac that makes you feel as though you have your own peaceful Seminyak sanctuary. Although there is much to see and do on your doorstep, you may just find yourself spending all your time chilling out with family and friends at garden barbecues, pool parties, and movie marathons in your stylish villa.

The ground floor of the main building of Villa Issi has a funky lounge with soft sofas, ottomans, a zebra-print rug, unique artworks, a 55-inch TV, DVD player, and Bose sound system with speakers set up throughout the villa and garden. Open the sliding glass doors and you enter the dining room with its long wooden table for 10, and the state-of-the-art kitchen where your dedicated chef will prepare you anything you’re craving. All rooms on the ground floor have floor-to-ceiling glass doors that can be closed for air-conditioning and privacy or open to the gentle breezes.
The master bedroom is on the upper floor of the main building and it is designed in a minimalist black and white colour scheme with teak wood floors. This room has a king bed, a dressing area, and a grey terrazzo ensuite bathroom with a large bathtub and indoor and outdoor showers. Follow the wooden bridge over the pool to get to the study suite with a king bed, desk, and ensuite bathroom with a rain shower.
From the garden, make your way past the emerald green pool, the outdoor dining table for eight and the gas-fired barbecue, and you will reach the guest pavilion. Here you will find two identical suites with teak wood floors, king beds and ensuite garden bathrooms with bathtubs and rain showers. The rooms are fronted by a terrace with daybeds and beanbags, and there is a stand-alone gym next to the guest pavilion.
Bali’s climate lends itself to outdoor living and there are plenty of spaces to enjoy the tropical lifestyle at Villa Issi including an immaculate garden and 25-metre pool. For relaxed dining look no further than the barbecue area in the garden with seating for eight and a top-of-the-range gas-fired barbecue. The ‘bridge’ deck above the pool is the perfect space to relax on a beanbag and read a magazine but when the sun goes down, this is a spectacular spot to enjoy a cocktail with friends.
A separate building in the garden houses the villa’s gym, equipped with treadmill, exercise bike and fitball plus a 32-inch television and iPod dock. The gym has its own bathroom with shower.
