Overview

As soon as you step into the lush garden at Villa Windu Sari you get a feeling of serenity and space. Two pavilions are laid out in an L-shape around the pool, and they boast huge windows and sliding doors that open either directly onto the pool and garden or onto wooden verandas where you can soak up the sun and sultry breezes.

The Layout

Living & Dining
The main gathering spot in Villa Windu Sari is the huge open-plan living and dining room which has high ceilings, cooling fans, marble floors, hanging copper lanterns, comfortable sofas and a large teak wood table that can seat 14 people. Guests can set the mood with the Sonos sound system controlled by the villa iPad, and seamlessly segue from the sofas or table to the pool deck, as the room is open on three sides. Behind the living and dining pavilion there is also a fully equipped kitchen.

Guest Suites
The guest bedrooms at Villa Windu Sari are located in a separate pavilion, and each features smooth wooden floors, timber ceilings, sliding glass doors with teak wood shutters, a 32-inch TV, DVD player and iPod dock. The master bedroom is on the upper floor and it has a huge king bed with Thai silk cushions, and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The master bedroom shares a long wooden balcony with another guest bedroom, which also has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Downstairs there are two more guest bedrooms, one with a king bed and another with twin beds that can convert to a king. Both these rooms have garden bathrooms with rain showers.

Media Room & Gym
On the second floor of the main pavilion you will find the media room with cosy armchairs, a 50-inch plasma TV, DVD player, Yamaha sound system and a desk with a computer. This floor also houses a gym with everything you need to stay in shape while on holiday including free weights and machines. Between the media room and the gym there is a rooftop terrace that makes for the perfect spot for sunset drinks.

Outdoor Living
The central feature at Villa Windu Sari is the 12.5-metre swimming pool that is lined with Himalayan stone. Next to the pool there is a wood and stone sundeck with loungers and umbrellas, and lush greenery and trees provide plenty of shade and sweet smelling flowers.

Location

Villa Windu Sari sits on the outer edges of the ‘golden triangle’ of Seminyak – close enough to be convenient but far enough away to enjoy the peace. The villa lies down a long cul-de-sac within a 24-hour guarded community. The area contains a wide mix of high-end villa and resort developments, chic shopping, bars, beachclubs and internationally acclaimed restaurants. Within a kilometre or two of the villa are the famous Ku Dé Ta and the newer Potato Head beach club, and nearby restaurants include La Lucciola, Hu’u Bar, Sarong and the W Retreat. The villa is less than a kilometre from Petitenget Beach, renowned for its surf breaks, panoramic coastline views and legendary sunsets.

Incredible, a piece of Heaven

I write this on our first evening in Villa Windu Sari. What an incredible villa. We were treated like royalty from the second we arrived. The staff are incredibly kind and could not do anymore to accommodate us during our stay.

A peaceful paradise

After traveling for over 24 hrs and a cab ride through heavy traffic, myself and friends arrived at Villa Windu Sari. We were immediately greeted by name and given a beautiful lei of the most amazing, exotic, lovely smelling yellow flowers. From that beautiful beginning, our stay at Villa Windu Sari was exquisite. The villa is peaceful, quite, and oh so relaxing. The staff is ever present, but always just out of sight, and greet you ever time with the most charming smiles. They say location is everything, and the villa is located within walking distance of some of the best shopping and restaurants found in the Seminyak area. With a stay over 7 days was one of the best experiences I've had an a vacation getaway.

Perfect place for a luxurious group getaway

Fun fun fun!

Piece of paradise in Bali

Our extended family spent 7 nights at this beautiful Villa to celebrate a milestone birthday. The Villa was perfect for our family situation with 6 bedrooms and the option of extra roll-away beds. Our family ages ranged from a 3 year old to a 70 year old! All bedrooms beautifully appointed with own en suites to allow complete privacy. Beds and bed linen lovely as was the cleanliness of the Villa. The centrally located pool and open dining room were the hub for the family. The entire staff were attentive and efficiency and nothing too much trouble for them to ensure our stay was perfect. We enjoyed the lovely breakfasts at the Villa and a few evening meals. The Villa is about a 5-10 minute walk up to the main street, but a taxi can also be used if required. I would definitely recommend this Villa for a large family group or a group of friends.

A luxurious and tranquil haven

This is the second time I've stayed at this villa and it just gets better every time! The accommodation is very tastefully done out with a gym, bathrooms that open out onto the garden, and four huge bedrooms with soft double beds, televisions and every accessory you could wish for. Recently upgraded with beautiful furnishings, the villa feels both luxurious and homely with wonderful Balinese flowers, fruits and art reminding you that you're on holiday somewhere culturally very different to home. The staff are incredibly attentive offering tapas, cocktails and very well prepared banquets and breakfast. Their attention to detail is second to none. You can select your own music on the sonos system, retire to the air conditioned trendy TV lounge to watch a movie or swim in the blue lagoon of a pool. The team here have booked our restaurants, arranged our trips and brought in spa staff to give us massages. We really couldn't have asked more of them. The final thing to say is that their prices too are good. Cocktails, tea, coffees, tapas and more were ordered in ample supply because we felt that all their prices were quite reasonable. All in all, this was a wonderful holiday that I can highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Bali!
