The Layout

Open Air Living
The main living and dining pavilion at Villa Windu Asri has soaring teak ceilings, marble floors, soft sofas in muted hues, leather ottomans and plantation chairs, as well as a wooden dining table that can seat up to 16 people. This pavilion is open on three sides so you can gaze past the stone colonnades to the reflection of palm trees in the pool. There is also a built-in bar here with bar stools, and a kitchenette.

Indoor Living
For those who prefer to dine in air-conditioned comfort, there is a formal dining room with a table for 12 next to the gourmet kitchen. Also housed in the main pavilion is a media room with a 60-inch TV, DVD player, Sonos stereo system, a mini-fridge and a huge veranda with sofas and a coffee table overlooking the pool.

Guest Suites
Each of the bedrooms at Villa Windu Asri is named after an Indonesian island, and they are all similar in size—that is to say massive. Modern amenities include 40-inch satellite TVs, DVD and CD players, and four of the bedrooms have 4-poster super king sized beds while the remaining two have twin beds with the option to convert them to super kings. The bedrooms also have beautiful bathrooms with walk-in rain showers, two of which are in their own walled garden courtyards. One bedroom is on the ground floor of the main pavilion, three are on the upper level of the main pavilion, and two bedrooms are in their own separate pavilion next to the pool.

Outdoor Living
Outdoors the pool takes centre place with a shallow seating area on one end and enough length to do laps. Next to the pool there is a bale with a lounge that features a U-shaped rattan sofa and large daybeds, and there is a sundeck with loungers and umbrellas. There is also an outdoor dining area next to the pool, a built-in BBQ area in the garden, and a fully equipped gym should you want to work off all those gourmet meals.

Location

Windu Asri is located in Petitenget on the edge of Seminyak - convenient to shopping and a growing number of designer boutiques, in addition to a plenitude of sumptuous spas, chic lounges and vibrant nightspots, including the popular Potato Head.

The villa is a short stroll from Legian Beach, well-known for its picture-perfect sunsets. A wide choice of fine dining restaurants, including Ku De Ta, Hu'u, Metis, La Lucciola, Sardine, Merah Putih, Mosaic Beach Club and Sarong are less than a kilometre away.

The location offers easy access to the mountains and rice terraces on the western slopes; it is less than an hour from the cultural and artistic town of Ubud, and just five minutes' from the Sunset Route, gateway to the eastern side of the island.

Paradise on the Island of the Gods

Our group of 10 arrived at Villa Windu Asri at night. How beautiful it looked with the pool, garden and living areas glowing in the darkness. It really set the mood for a wonderful 2 weeks of luxury, pampering, delicious food prepared by our own in house chef, and friendly, efficient service by the experienced staff. The villa is set in a quiet, secure area of Seminyak close to excellent restaurants, bars and salons. It is an easy walk to the beach near Pettitinget. I recommend a walk on the beach in the early morning and, for that matter, in the early evening. It's great to watch the locals and other tourists and find your way around away from the busy roads. Can't wait to go back!

Absolute bliss

I cannot rave enough about this villa and the fantastic staff who took care of us whilst we visited. Beautiful rooms, amazing service and fabulous food. All in a great central location. Incredible! Absolute Perfection

I am almost reluctant to leave a review because I don't want people finding out about this villa and taking it away from us..... We stayed at Villa Windu Asri Jan 2015 and have already re-booked for 2016! This villa, it's location, it's staff everything is just perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. I am so glad that we found a new family in Bali that we can look forward to visiting and sharing fun times with. If you want to stay in villa heaven with world class cooking and cocktails by the pool and massages and walks to the shops and the beach then this is your villa - It is almost too good to be true. Thank you Villa Windu Asri for an amazing holiday and an amazing 40th birthday celebration. See you next year.

Style and Luxury!!!

This place has to be seen.....I have stayed at numerous Villas in Bali but walking into this Villa this took my breath away. The furnishings and the feel to this Villa reminds me of something from the Hampton in New York and is luxurious and stylish. Staff are beyond amazing and the position is close too all you need. OMG!!! we stayed here for 8 nights celebrating my sisters hens and oh boy were we left speechless!! We had previously stayed at the Villa windu sari numerous times and villa windu asri is perfection!! The staff.. oh my gosh the staff.. they are ALL AMAZING!!! They all go above and beyond there duty.. Lead by the ever so graceful villa manager Made Ada the whole team are prefect!!!.. We enjoyed EVERY SINGLE second here we hardly left the villa.. the pool.. the rooms.. the food.. the service.. this villa deserves 99/10... will definitely be returning!!

Take me back!

AMAZING!!!!!! This place blew my mind, you could want for nothing more. The rooms and bathrooms were massive and were beautifully designed and styled. The pool and outdoor area were absolutely spectacular and the size of them was something else. The grand and luxurious scale of the villa meant that there was plenty places to sit and socialise but you could always find plenty of quiet places to sit and relax when required. I can’t speak highly enough of our experiences with the staff they were so caring and friendly, the service, food and cocktails were a real highlight and was definitely the cherry on top of this luxury villa. The location of the Villa was perfect, only a stones throw away from all the popular bars, spas and close to some really spectacular restaurants. I have lost count of the number of people that I have told about this place and what an amazing time we had. We will definitely be back.

Outstanding

We felt like royalty staying at this luxurious, spacious and visually delightful villa. Being a large group of ten adults and many children we never once felt like we where on top of each other, the nanny service entertained the children wonderfully when parents needed a rest. The fabulous staff organised for a pool fence to be erected for our peace of mind with the young kids. They also catered to all the children's eating requirements as well as ours. The food and cocktails where sensational and served by the most friendly and kind staff. I even hugged the chef she is so lovely and makes fantastic food ranging from traditional Indonesian to a chicken burger to die for. The large, beautifully decorated bedrooms have the most comfortable beds I've ever stayed in with stunning bathrooms and big screen TVs. The location is quiet and peaceful yet walking distance from buzzing , trendy Seminyak with all it's lovely shops, day spars and restaurants. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a perfect holiday.
