Overview

The first thing that comes to mind when you enter Villa Sayang d’Amour is pure decadence, Arabian Nights style. This unique villa is decked out in exotic motifs and hues, from the ornate floor tiles to the hanging glass lamps, the wrought iron railings on the staircase, the juxtaposition of deep purples and pale blues, and the cut-out wooden shutters on the windows.

No attention to detail is left spared, as the French owners sourced only the finest building materials and furnishings to decorate the villa. Yet despite the lavish decor, the villa offers a warm and welcoming feel from the minute you walk in the door—a feeling that is enhanced by the smiling staff who go out of their way to make you feel at ease.

Take some time to explore the spacious rooms with large windows offering plenty of light, polished wooden floors and ceilings, antique furniture and soft sofas and beds decked out in colourful cushions, before heading to the pool deck to settle in on a plush lounger and do some laps in the 20-meter pool. The Layout

Indoor Living
The open-concept living and dining area is located on the ground floor of Villa Sayang d’Amour and it is awash in bright cheerful colours, comfy sofas, plenty of tables laden in books, and warm wood accents. The French doors let light and air flow freely throughout the space, and by night, the hurricane lamps and chandeliers contribute a soft glow to the room.

On one side of the lounge a long wooden dining table can seat up to ten people, and the wooden bar is a great spot to sit for drinks and watch your private chef prepare tempting culinary creations. On the other side of the room, you will find the entrance to the entertainment room, which is cozy and well-equipped with a 56-inch flat screen TV, DVD player and a large collection of DVDs of all genres.

Love & Romance Suites
The two bedrooms on the ground floor are called Love and Romance, and they both feature muted tones like pale blue and natural wood accents, plush French-style king-sized beds, gorgeous oriental rugs, writing desks, sofas, TVs and DVD players and spacious ensuite bathrooms with bathtubs and private outdoor showers amid lush tropical greenery.

Elegance & Forever Suites
On either side of the living area there are elegant staircases that lead you to the upper bedrooms, Elegance and Forever. These spacious rooms are perfect for kids, as they have comfortable double beds with gauzy white canopies, soft sofas, TVs, DVD players, and bathrooms with bathtubs and double sinks.

French Kiss & Sensation Suites
The master bedrooms are located in separate pavilions off to one side of the pool, so they offer seclusion and privacy, as well as distinctive character and design elements. Sensation features light blue and green hues and elegant furnishings like a chaise lounges, a dresser made with Venetian glass, a daybed with soft cushions and a king-sized bed with a flowing canopy. In addition, the ensuite bathroom is absolutely massive and has a striking tiled floor, freestanding claw foot bathtub and windows with wooden shutters.

French Kiss is equally as appealing, with clean white walls and rich hues like cranberry and fuchsia. Here you will find a king-sized bed decked out in fine linens, a writing desk, sofa and an ensuite bathroom with an oversized bathtub, double sinks and a secluded outdoor rain shower.

Outdoor Living
The lovely 20-meter swimming pool is the centrepiece at Villa Sayang d’Amour. Surrounded by frangipani trees, coconut palms, and a beautifully manicured lawn with white stepping stone paths, the pool is where you can recline on rattan sun loungers with deep purple cushions under hot pink umbrellas that provide shade on sunny days. The long pool is great for doing laps, and even little ones can enjoy the water, as there is a custom-made shallow splash area and a waterfall feature that kids will love.

You can also head to the beautiful rooftop garden and lounge, where you can relax under the shady gazebo and take in the light breezes by day, have guests over for sunset cocktails and canapés in the evening or enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner under the stars and moon.
