Villa Lulito is not your typical Bali villa. Located in the stylish Oberoi area of Seminyak, this dramatic four-bedroom villa was built with tropical colonial grandeur in mind. Four plantation style villas surround a sparkling blue swimming pool, and each has charming touches like white wooden shutters, exposed timber ceiling beams, and potted palm trees in huge white planters. The Layout

INDOOR LIVING
With three spacious pavilions devoted to dining and lounging, Villa Lulito has plenty of places to gather with family or friends. The fan-cooled kitchen pavilion is fully equipped and has a breakfast table for eight people and a lounge area with chairs and a coffee table. For more formal dining, there is also an elegant open-sided dining room with a table that seats eight. Head to the fan-cooled living area to sink into one of the deep sofas or chairs and catch a movie on the flatscreen TV, or make your way to the garden pavilion to chill out on the rattan daybeds and sofas.

MASTER SUITE
Located on the upper floor of the sleeping pavilion, the master suite is spacious and airy with sliding doors that open onto the balcony for views of the pool. It has a canopied four-poster king bed, a walk-in dressing area, and a large ensuite bathroom with a freestanding bathtub. This room is a great option for parents because it has sliding doors that connect it to the children’s room.

GUEST SUITES
One of the reasons Villa Lulito is so popular with families is that it has a dedicated children’s room on the upper floor that adjoins to the master suite. This gorgeous all-white room has four custom bunk beds with ladders, a wall of drawers for storing clothing and toys, plush laundry baskets shaped like dinosaurs, and bookshelves full of books. The ensuite bathroom has a shower, and there is access to the gated balcony.

On the lower floor of the sleeping pavilion there are two identical guest suites with double doors that open onto the terrace next to the pool. These rooms have king beds, stylish rattan and leather travel trunks, and ensuite bathrooms with rain showers. Like all of the suites at Villa Lulito, the guest suites are outfitted with air-conditioning, fans, and Wi-Fi.

OUTDOOR LIVING
The 14-metre swimming pool takes centre place in the midst of the pavilions and is just as striking at night when it is lit up with blue lights. Surrounding the pavilions are stone patios with loungers and cushioned club chairs. The landscaped tropical gardens bordering the pavilions include an area with a covered terrace and eight-seater dining table for al fresco meals.

Location

Villa Lulito is situated in an upscale neighbourhood of Seminyak just a short walk from Bali’s famous Ku De Ta beach club and Petitenget Beach with its long stretch of golden sand, historic Hindu temple, and spectacular sunsets. Nearby you’ll find plenty of cafes and restaurants, plus chic shops selling everything from jewellery to beach wear and designer shoes. Should you want to explore the rest of the island, your villa manager can offer advice and arrange transportation.
