Overview

Although Villa Kalyani is located just a short drive from excellent beaches, surf breaks, boutiques, bars and restaurants, there really is no reason to leave this Canggu cathedral of cool. The Layout

INDOOR LIVING
The main building at Villa Kalyani is shaped like a U with the dining room in the centre overlooking the garden and pool. The dining room can be left open-sided or closed off for air-conditioned comfort, and it features a huge wooden table that can seat up to 12 people. On left of the dining room is the Play Room with a pool table, bar and sofas that are open to the garden. On the other side of the dining room is the purpose-built Party Room with another bar, a professional DJ booth, dance floor and adjacent lounge with sofas that can comfortably seat 15 people. The main building also houses the Media Room with its soft sofas, surround sound system, Nintendo Wii and a huge projector screen that can also be set up in the garden.

OUTDOOR LIVING
Sunny days and starry nights are all about enjoying the beautiful outdoor facilities at Villa Kalyani including the 22-metre pool and wooden pool deck with double sun loungers, the sunken gazebo with its plush bench seating, and the lush lawns. There are also three different rooftop areas: one with a swinging daybed suspended from the ceiling, another with a secluded sundeck, and a spectacular rooftop terrace over the guesthouse pavilion with a relaxation bale and fabulous views over the grounds and surrounding environs.

MASTER SUITES
The two master suites at Villa Kalyani are located on the upper floor of the main building, and both offer beautiful wrap-around balconies that overlook the pool and garden. They also feature high ceilings that enhance the sense of airiness and space, polished hardwood floors, king-sized beds, sitting areas, flat-screen TVs, DVD players, dressing areas and ensuite bathrooms, one of which has a beautiful soaking tub set in a private garden.

GUEST SUITES
Hidden away discreetly behind the dining room is a gorgeous guest suite that looks across a manicured lawn to a tranquil waterfall and pond. This guest suite has a king-sized bed that can be converted into twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub. The remaining two guest suites are located at the far end of the garden in a separate guest pavilion with a shared open-sided living area and a 7-metre long plunge pool. Both rooms have king-sized beds, flat-screen TVs, and semi-open garden bathrooms, one of which has a soaking tub set in a serene lily pond.

Location

Villa Kalyani is located in the quiet village of Berawa in Canggu just two kilometres from Berawa Beach, a popular surfing spot. In fact, all along this southwestern coast of Bali there are great beaches and surf breaks. Villa Kalyani is also close to many cafes, restaurants and shops in Canggu, while Seminyak and its happening nightlife, shopping and dining scene is just a 25 minute drive to the south.
