You enter Villa Jagaditha through two lovingly restored antique Javanese doors and step into a garden bursting with greenery and bright tropical flowers. Follow the wooden walkways and bridges over the lotus ponds, past the striking master suite buildings, and you will reach the breezy open-sided living and dining area fronted by a vast expanse of soft green grass and the almost too-tempting-to-be-true infinity pool that seems to cascade into the Indian Ocean.

Take your pick of the modern bedroom suites, each designed with minimalist decor so as not to distract from the spectacular views of the ocean and the lush gardens. The Layout

Living Pavilion
The central living and dining pavilion is open on all sides, meaning you get fresh air and uninterrupted views, no matter where you sit. Wicker sofas with comfortable cushions look out over the pool area and the ocean, and a massive teak dining table can seat up to 12 people at a time.

Guest Suites
Villa Jagaditha features 6 luxury bedrooms that together can comfortably sleep up to 12 people. There are two separate king-sized master bungalows and two double-storey buildings with spacious king-sized suites on the top floors and twin rooms with ensuite bathrooms on the ground floors. Each air-conditioned suite is decked out with antique four-poster beds with King Koil mattresses draped in soft Ploh bedding and muslin mosquito nets.

The semi-outdoor bathrooms have bathtubs big enough to fit two and lovely rain showers, and guests are treated to all-natural soaps, shampoos and shower gels made in Bali, as well as the finest quality towels and facecloths. Soak in the oversized bathtub while watching the stars twinkle above, relax to ambient beats played on your own Bose Sound Dock, or gaze out at the waves rolling in through your floor to ceiling windows.

Media Room
In a separate building in the midst of the bungalows and suites, you will find the media room and gym. Great for rainy days or evenings spent in, the air-conditioned media room boasts large sofas where you can spread out and watch DVDs from the in-house selection on the Bose Home Media Surround Sound system. For kids both young and old, the Nintendo Wii will keep you entertained for hours on end.

Gym
Behind the Media room, the small air-conditioned gym beckons with top-notch exercise equipment including a Pro5 AIRdaptive PowerPlate and Concept 2 rowing machine., and a steam and shower room that is partly open to the fresh air.

Spa
For those who prefer pampering, Villa Jagaditha also has a dedicated spa room behind the pool pavilion where you can arrange to have decadent spa treatments like massages, body scrubs, facials, manicures and pedicures.

Outdoor Living
In front of the living pavilion there is a lush green lawn where little ones can run around in the sunshine, and to the right of the lawn there is an outdoor dining pavilion for memorable meals next to the sea and under the stars.

The infinity pool marks the end of the property before the beach begins, and it is surrounded by a cool palimanan stone deck with 8 plush sun loungers and bright turquoise umbrellas for a bit of rest, relaxation and shade. If you’ve had your fill of refreshing dips in the pool and sunbathing sessions, head to the garden where you’ll find hammocks strung up in tranquil spots between the palm trees.
