Overview

Welcome to the ultimate tropical luxury escape where lush plants and flowers surround the winding pool with a swim-under waterfall, fat koi fish frolic in ponds on either side of stone paths, and open-sided living spaces allow gentle breezes to flow in. No matter where you are in Villa Asta, you have views of either the verdant villa grounds or the rice paddies flanking the property.

Each of the pavilions at Villa Asta features decadent natural materials like Palimanan stone floors inlaid with teak wood and soaring alang-alang thatched roofs supported by coconut wood pillars, and the decor is fresh and modern with bright artworks, soft throw cushions and tasteful artefacts. In addition, the modern amenities like the integrated sound system, plasma TVs and computers with Wi-Fi access mean that you have every convenience at your fingertips.

Kids will love splashing around in the shallow tiers of the pool, frolicking on the lengthy lawn, and shooting some pool, while parents can recline on the wooden sundeck, take leisurely dips in the pool and relax with a good book in the two-storey bale overlooking the rice fields next door. The Layout

Indoor Living
Resting next to the pool is the large living pavilion which is open on four sides and features two seating areas with long oversized sofas. Soaring roofs create a sense of endless space, and wooden tables provide the perfect platform for the latest magazines, card games or chilled drinks. This room also has a speaker system that is connected to the dining pavilion and games room.

In its own separate pavilion, the dining room is also open on four sides and has an extendable wooden dining room table that can seat up to 18 people, as well as a black marble topped bar for sundowner drinks overlooking the pool. The service kitchen is behind the bar, and this is where the talented chef will prepare you delectable gourmet creations. Connected to the dining pavilion by sliding glass doors, the air-conditioned TV room makes for a prime entertainment spot with a 48-inch satellite TV, computer and printer and tons of comfy seating.

Master Suites
Follow the flagstones across the koi ponds behind the living and dining pavilions, and you will reach the single-storey master bedroom pavilion fronted by a peaceful plunge pool. Sliding glass doors lead to the two air-conditioned master bedrooms which both boast canopied king-sized beds, roomy window seats, 29-inch plasma TVs, and private garden bathrooms with huge marble tubs protected from the elements by the roof eaves.

Guest Suites
At the opposite end of the main swimming pool there is a two-storey pavilion that houses the guest bedrooms and games room. The bedrooms are on the ground floor, and they each have twin beds that can convert to kings, roll-away beds for extra guests, walk-in wardrobes and beautiful ensuite garden bathrooms with walk-in showers.

Games Room
Upstairs from the guest suites, you will find the semi-open games room with a 52-inch TV and DVD player, billiards table, table tennis, computer and its own kitchenette and bathroom with a shower.

Outdoor Living
Awash in tall trees and flowering plants, the grounds of Villa Asta are impressive to say the least. The free-form swimming pool with its waterfall wall takes centre place and has a circular wooden sundeck with loungers on one side and a two-storey bale that hovers over a sunken area of the pool and looks out over the neighbouring rice paddies on the other side. At the far end of the property, the expansive lawn is the perfect spot for a bit of outdoor activity.

Villa Asta is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Batubelig Beach on Bali’s south-western coast, where an easy stroll along the sand brings you to Mozaic Beach Club. A mere five-minute walk from the villa, Naughty Nuri’s serves its famed ribs and martinis acclaimed by celebrity gourmet chef Anthony Bourdain. Seminyak, with its wide choice of internationally-renowned restaurants including Metis, Sardine, Sarong, La Lucciola and Ku De Ta is a short drive away, as is the Canggu Club where guests enjoy complimentary membership.

Beautiful

Stayed at Villa Asta with a group of friends for 7 days. It was just as pictured on the website, beautiful. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. They cooked a dinner and 2 bbq lunches which were amazing. Even obliged our dietary restrictions and allowed us to order things off of their menu. The entire villa was clean and very cozy. Location was close to Seminyak shops and restaurants. About 40mins away from Nusa Dua and an hr from Ubud. Overall Villa Asta was beautiful and staff was wonderful. A special thanks to Rai, Yeni (so sweet and cute), Tato, Wyan (our driver) and the rest of the staff at Villa Asta. You rock!

Pure Bliss

Pure bliss from the moment we walked through those amazing doors. The villa is perfect for families like mine (young kids, adults and grandparents) Rai and his staff provided top class service and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. A special mention to Wayan the ever dependable driver who was always there when we needed him and always with a smile.

Sensational

Sensational 8 nights at Villa Asta. We went there for a friends 50th birthday celebration and the staff went the extra mile with special table decorations, balloons, rose petals on the bed which said happy birthday and also in the bathtub. We could not fault the Villa or the fantastic staff - thank you to Rai and all the team. The food was of the highest quality and they are also great bartenders! The staff noticed from the passport dates that there was also another birthday during our stay and surprised us with a centre piece of birds made out of carrots and turnips including a Happy Birthday made out of the carrots & turnips. Our driver Yayan was terrific - nothing was too much trouble... on one particularly hot afternoon after trekking the shops for hours he greeted us half way down the street from the Van with bottles of cold water. No need to walk that extra 100 metres for a cold drink!

A wonderful experience

Such a wonderful experience! Everything was Perfect- from the outdoor bathrooms to the outstanding food. Very special mention to Rai and his exceptional team. So professional and accommodating. We had two little children with us (3year old and a 1 year old), and they were so wonderful with them. The villa was beautifully suited to children. Finally- the special birthday dinner banquet was so impressive and touching! More than we ever expected. Thank you so much! We can't wait to come back.

We had a blast!

The villa was really good. We were staying in Villa Asta with our family for a week and had a blast. What made our trip was the staff, they were exceptional so helpful and friendly. We definitely want to stay at Villa Asta the next time we revisit Bali.
