Overview

Step through the blue entrance gates at The Cotton House and you find yourself surrounded by tropical greenery and a series of graceful pavilions. Inside the pavilions there are huge windows and soaring ceilings that allow natural light and breezes to flow through. The bright white walls are offset by pops of colour in the textiles and artworks, and contemporary furnishings create pleasant areas for socialising and relaxation. Groups are well-catered to with two pools, an outdoor BBQ, media facilities, and dedicated staff including a chef, butler, villa manager, and a driver with a private car.

The Layout

INDOOR LIVING
The main living area at The Cotton House is housed in its own pavilion set just back from the pool. This pavilion has lounge areas with comfortable seating on cushioned wicker and wooden furniture, a long bar with wooden stools, a pool table, flat-screen TV with surround sound, and an indoor dining table that can seat up to 18 people. At the back of the pavilion there is a spacious fully-equipped kitchen with ample counter space. Two of the sleeping pavilions also have living and dining spaces with elegant furnishings and artworks.

OUTDOOR LIVING
One of the most appealing aspects of The Cotton House is the sprawling 600-metre-square lawn that flows around the pool and pavilions. Offering plenty of space to spread out, the lawn is the perfect setting for a special event. The 20-metre wet-edge pool has two sets of steps at either end and is surrounded by sun loungers for up to 16 people. The villa also has a BBQ for al fresco meals in the garden, as well as an outdoor dining area next to the main living pavilion with a dining table that can seat 14 people.

MASTER SUITE
The master bedroom is located in a large pavilion with its own living and dining area. This impressive suite has a king-sized bed, colourful carpet and artworks, a sitting area with cushioned wicker chairs, and a flat-screen TV. The all-white ensuite bathroom has twin vanities, an indoor shower, and an outdoor shower and bathtub. Next to the master suite there are two guest suites with your choice of twin beds or king beds, which is perfect for families with children.

GUEST SUITES
The Cotton House’s guest suites are spread amongst the various pavilions and each has a king bed (with four that can be configured with twin single beds), ample storage space, flat-screen TVs with DVD players, and private ensuite bathrooms. All of the guest suites have indoor showers, and some have outdoor showers and bathtubs. There are two guest suites in the two-storey pavilion next to the entrance, one on the ground floor and the other on the upper floor. The remaining five guest suites are housed in a separate pavilion with a library.

The Cotton House is situated in the trendy Petitenget neighbourhood of Seminyak. This area is renowned for its dining options that range from fresh seafood to fine-dining Indonesian cuisine, fusion fare, Mexican and Italian. Petitenget Beach, Seminyak Beach and Batu Belig Beach are just a short drive from the villa. Head a little further west and you reach Canggu, which boasts chic beach clubs, hip cafes, and some of Bali’s most popular surf breaks. Guests at Villa Cotton have access to a private car and driver every day, which makes it easy to explore Bali.
