The two-day Soulshine Festival will be held at the world-renowned Green School Bali on December 27 and 28, 2013. The music and environmental festival is dedicated to sustainability for Bali and the world and will benefit Bumi Sehat, natural birthing clinics in Bali and Aceh, Indonesia. Funds raised will also be contributed to the Green School's Indonesian Scholarship Fund, which provides free education for Indonesian children.
Soulshine Festival is family-friendly music and environmental festival, bringing together the highest positive vibrations in music, environmental-themed talks, and inspiring children's activities to celebrate the sustainability of our planet and the power we all have to be the change we want to see in the world.
The Soulshine Festival aims to “educate, enlighten, and inspire.” The main stage of musical artists will feature performances by Michael Franti and Spearhead as well as more musical guests to be announced. In addition, the Soulshine Festival will also feature an environmentally-themed series of award-winning speakers and films, morning yoga, an eco kids zone, vendors and food booths, and social and environmental organizations tables and forums.
