Voted by Elle magazine as Bali’s Most Beautiful Private Villa 2010, Villa Bukit Naga is a stunning 7-bedroom luxury property offering breathtaking views. A favourite holiday rental property among celebrities due to its absolute privacy.view
Villa Swarapadi is a stylish 4-bedroom luxury villa set in a tranquil environment amid rice paddies and temples. A peaceful escape with open-air living spaces, a gorgeous pool surrounded by coconut trees and lush greenery, and inviting bedrooms decked out in natural accents like wood and stone. Unique to Bali, this is the only villa on the island with its own recording studio.
Villa Swarapadi is located in Junjungan, an authentic Balinese village away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud’s busy streets. As you drive up to the villa, you pass emerald green rice paddies, traditional Balinese homes, temples and warungs, and friendly locals going about day to day life. The facade of Villa Swarapadi is both traditional and modern with white stone walls creating clean minimalist lines, and a natural stone wall that houses the carved wooden doors that lead you into the property.
Once inside, you can relax in the open-sided living room and enjoy the views out to the garden or, have a drink at the pool bar, or high-tail it straight to the recording room to check out all of the top-of-the-line gear. After a few jam sessions, you’ll probably want to cool off in the pool before sitting down to a gourmet Indonesian meal prepared by your talented villa chef. Then it’s all about movies and music in the living room or your rustic chic bedroom.
Indoor & Outdoor Living
At Villa Swarapadi, you can enjoy a mix of outdoor and indoor living in both the living/dining room and bar areas. Both open up onto the pool and the garden, and offer soaring ceilings with wooden beams, rich wooden accents like wall panelling and carvings, and comfortable furnishings made with local wood and rattan. There is also a home theatre system and sound system here for evenings spent in with family and friends. Step outside, and you’ll find the 17-metre pool set in lush greenery.
The four bedrooms at Villa Swarapadi include the Gamelan and Gong rooms, which are the master bedrooms, and the Legong and Degung rooms. Each bedroom faces the garden or pond and features a king-sized bed, A/C and fans, 32-inch TV and DVD player, and a gorgeous ensuite bathroom with an outdoor shower. The Gamelan and Gong rooms also have large bathtubs that are big enough for two.
If you’re a musician, songwriter or music producer, then Villa Swarapadi is the place for you. Unique to Bali, this is the only villa on the island with its own recording studio replete with a modern control room fitted with state-of-the-art equipment and a recording room big enough to house a full band for live recording sessions.
Of course, the recording studio is the main draw here with it’s large windows that allow natural light to flow in, and omni Conffusor™, which is installed in the side wall and ceiling to allow only high-quality natural sound frequency to come through. The control room uses L.E.D.E (live end dead end) technology and Dynaudio Acoustics speakers to get the most out of every set. Villa Swarapadi can also provide you with an in-house sound engineer, as well as session musicians should you need them.
